Róna-Tas András, tanszékünk alapítója kapta idén a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia szegedi bizottságának Pro Scientia életműdíját.
Prof. Dr. Hendrik Erik Boeschoten (Hilversum, 1950. 09.15.), a mainzi egyetem emeritus professzora 2024. február 18-án elhunyt.
Tanszékünknek a 90-es évektől kezdődően szoros kapcsolata volt vele, személyében kitűnő kollégát, jó barátot veszítettünk el.
Emlékét megőrizzük, nyugodjék békében!
Az SZTE BTK Kari Tanácstermében fogadta január 15-én Prof. Dr. Gyenge Zoltán dékán és Prof. Dr. Papp Sándor László, az Altajisztika Tanszék vezetője Otaka Masato, Japán magyarországi nagykövetét, Ozaki Takeshi I. osztályú, Saito Takumi III. osztályú titkárt, valamint Nikolényi Gergelyt, a Japán Alapítvány budapesti irodájának programszervezőjét. A találkozó témája a BTK és a japán nagykövetség közötti, jövőbeni együttműködések voltak.
Idén a Tanszékünk két hallgatója is a Pro Talentis Universitatis Alapítvány díjazottjai között volt.
