Short description |
The course searches for similarities and differences between the cult of heroes-, saints and celebrities. It shed light the background motivation behind the creation of hero- and celebrity cult. It answers the question whether celebrities can be called heroes of contemporary times. It introduces the religious dimensions of celebrity cult. The course will help to understand the background motivation behind the creation of hero- and celebrity culture. |
