Introduction

I am a habilitated Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Szeged. I holds a degree in Biology and Philosophy. My main areas of research are environmental philosophy, applied ethics, game theory and aspects of social philosophy in demography.

I have participated in numerous national and international conferences, have given Erasmus lectures in various countries and made international study tours. I am a member of the György Málnási Bartók Doctoral School of Philosophy at the University of Szeged, where I have supervised four doctoral students. I am a member of the Hungarian Society of Philosophy, Global Ecological Integrity Group; the secretary of the Society of Applied Philosophy; editor of the series entitled Applied Ethics: From Bioethics to Environmental Ethics. In 2001, I was awarded the Békésy György Postdoctoral Fellowship. I am the Erasmus coordinator for the Department of Philosophy. I have made over 150 publications and authored several books.
